Network & Digital Video Recorders
When looking for a video recorder, you need to choose between a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) or Network Video Recorder (NVR). Both perform the same function but different in how and the type of camera used.
A DVR based system is a wired system that processes the video data at the recorder. A NVR based system can be wired or wireless that encodes and processes the video data at the camera.

IP & Analog Video Cameras
A DVR system uses analog cameras, better knows as CCTV cameras. The cost savings you experience in a DVR system is due to the camera. In a DVR system, the camera streams an analog signal to the recorder which then processes the images. Another advantage of the DVR system is the reduced complexity required of the camera when compared to an NVR system.
NVR security camera systems incorporate the newest technology to provide an enhanced, feature rich security system. NVR systems use IP cameras which are more robust, flexible and complex. An NVR system processes video data at the camera rather than at the recorder. Unlike analog cameras, IP cameras are typically all capable of recording and sending audio as well as video.
Guarding Vision - Software Application
The Guarding Vision app is designed to work with DVRs, NVRs and IP cameras which support cloud P2P function. It allows you to live view your cameras remotely. It also allows you to play pack recorded video to search every milestone of your life.
When motion detection alarm of your device is triggered, you can get an instant message notification from the Guarding Vision App.
